Clinical Research Associate - Pharmaceutical

About the Role

Our client is actively seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Research Associate (CRA) to join their team on a contract basis, supporting pharmaceutical studies in the Centurion area and surrounding regions. As a CRA, you will play a crucial role in monitoring clinical trial sites, ensuring adherence to protocols, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards. You will be responsible for verifying data accuracy, patient safety, and the overall integrity of clinical trials, contributing to the development of life-saving medications. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct site initiation, interim monitoring, and close-out visits according to established monitoring procedures.
• Verify the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of clinical trial data through source data verification (SDV).
• Ensure compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines, regulatory requirements, and study protocols.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with investigators, study coordinators, and site staff.
• Identify and report any protocol deviations, adverse events, or safety concerns to the study team.
• Manage trial master files (TMF) and ensure all site documents are properly maintained.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Nursing, Pharmacy, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a CRA in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
• Thorough understanding of GCP, ICH guidelines, and relevant regulatory frameworks.
• Proven ability to conduct site monitoring visits effectively and efficiently.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively to clinical trial sites as required.
