About the Opportunity: Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to join a high-end luxury restaurant in Franschhoek. This is an excellent opportunity for a polished and passionate hospitality professional with strong restaurant operations experience and a genuine commitment to exceptional food, wine and guest service. The successful candidate should ideally already be based in Franschhoek, Paarl or the surrounding Winelands. Candidates currently based in Cape Town may also be considered, provided they are willing to relocate closer to the Franschhoek/Paarl area due to the operational hours of the position.

Key Requirements

• Proven Restaurant Management experience within a luxury restaurant, 5-star hotel, wine estate or similar high-end hospitality environment.
• Strong knowledge of Food & Beverage operations and luxury service standards.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage, motivate and develop a high-performing restaurant team.
• Strong guest relations skills with a professional, hands‑on approach to service.
• Good understanding of food, wine and fine dining service.
• Strong administrative, organisational and operational management abilities.
• Experience with stock control, cost management and maintaining operational standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional presentation with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends and operational shifts as required.
• Candidates should ideally be based locally or willing to relocate to the Franschhoek/Paarl area.

Package

• Salary: R23,000 - R25,000 per month.
• Live-Out position.
