About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Pharmaceutical Sales Representative to join their dynamic team based in Pietermaritzburg . This role is crucial for driving sales growth and expanding market share within the assigned territory. You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with healthcare professionals, understanding their needs, and effectively communicating the value of our client's pharmaceutical products. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical landscape, exceptional sales acumen, and a passion for improving patient outcomes through innovative treatments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets within the Pietermaritzburg region.
• Cultivate and manage relationships with key stakeholders including doctors, pharmacists, and hospital administrators.
• Present and promote the company's portfolio of pharmaceutical products through effective sales calls, presentations, and educational events.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new opportunities and challenges.
• Provide comprehensive product knowledge and ongoing support to healthcare providers.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure alignment with national strategies and local market needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in pharmaceutical sales , preferably within the KwaZulu-Natal region.
• Demonstrated success in achieving sales quotas and building strong customer relationships.
• Excellent understanding of pharmacology , therapeutic areas, and the healthcare industry.
• Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• A valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
