About the Role

Our client is seeking a visionary and experienced Lead Architect to oversee the design and development of prestigious residential projects in and around Stellenbosch . You will be responsible for leading design teams, developing innovative residential concepts, and ensuring the successful execution of high-quality housing developments. This role demands a strong understanding of residential design trends, materials, and construction, coupled with exceptional leadership and project management skills. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architectural design process for new residential developments from concept to completion.
• Develop innovative and market-leading residential design strategies and master plans.
• Manage and mentor a team of architectural designers and technologists.
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant building codes, zoning regulations, and client specifications.
• Collaborate effectively with developers, engineers, and contractors to ensure project success.
• Oversee the preparation of detailed construction documentation and specifications.

Requirements

• Registered Architect with the South African Council for the Architectural Profession (SACAP).
• A minimum of 10 years of post-qualification experience, with a significant focus on residential architecture .
• Demonstrated experience in leading design teams and managing complex residential projects.
• Expertise in architectural design software, including Revit and AutoCAD.
• Strong understanding of market trends, housing typologies, and construction methods relevant to the residential sector.
• Excellent client management and presentation skills.
