Junior Catering Assistant

About the Role

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic Junior Catering Assistant to support their catering operations in Stellenbosch . This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for individuals passionate about food service and hospitality. You will assist in various aspects of event preparation, service, and clean-up, working under the guidance of experienced catering staff. This role requires a willingness to learn, a positive attitude, and a commitment to contributing to the successful delivery of high-quality catering services for diverse events.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and presentation of food and beverages according to established recipes and standards.
• Set up event spaces, including arranging tables, chairs, and serving stations, ensuring a professional and welcoming environment.
• Provide efficient and friendly table service during events, responding to guest requests promptly.
• Assist with the clearing of tables, breakdown of service areas, and general clean-up duties post-event.
• Support the catering team with inventory management and stock rotation as required.

Requirements
