Relief Lodge Manager - Hoedspruit

Luxury Game Lodge based close to Hoedspruit is looking for a Relief Lodge Manager to partner with the Lodge Manager and anchor the lodge . As the Relief Manager ; you will work across all the departments in the lodge. You will be integral to the success of the lodge by ensuring that the teams are aware of their requirements and continually aiming to exceed expectations. You will ensure that guests are always receiving a world-class experience .

Duties:

• Ensure that the lodge is recognised as an award-winning and world-leading lodge.
• Upholding the brand and overall operational standards.
• Ensuring an overall world-class guest experience.
• Front of House duties
• Room Checks
• Check in and induction
• Administration
• Hosting
• Month end duties
• Anchoring the lodge when the lodge manager is on leave/away
• Assisting with all Health and Safety protocols.
• Assisting with the maintenance system.
• Assisting with team-related issues.
• Monitor; control, and record stock levels for all departments.
• Timeous support and communication with other departments across the business.

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• A formal hospitality qualification
• At least 5 years in an anchor or relief manager role and / or assistant lodge management role.
• Driver's license essential.
• Proven track record of successfully leading a large team (leading, motivating coaching etc).
• Excellent at building guest rapport.
• Excellent communicator.
• Proven track record of achieving results | goals.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to make quick but sound decisions.
• Emotional Intelligence.
