Non Motor Claims Consultant

We are seeking a dedicated Non-Motor Claims Consultant to manage and process non-motor insurance claims efficiently while maintaining strict adherence to policy terms and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle and process non-motor insurance claims from initiation through to resolution in compliance with policy terms.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, gathering information, providing status updates, and addressing inquiries.
• Collect, review, and verify relevant claim documentation, including incident reports, estimates, and loss assessments.
• Evaluate claims to determine validity, coverage, and settlement amounts while working closely with insurers under binder agreements.
• Liaise with assessors and stakeholders to facilitate the claims process and expedite resolutions.
• Ensure all claims comply with regulatory requirements, company policies, and insurer mandates.
• Address client concerns promptly to secure a positive experience and support client retention.

Requirements:

• Matric
• Relevant underwriting or insurance certifications (e.g. NQF Level 4, RE5) are advantageous
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
• Deep understanding of short-term insurance products
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in managing documents and data

Remuneration:
