SALES & MARKETING MANAGER

Location: Isando, Gauteng | Office-based
Travel: Extensive travel across South Africa & Sub-Saharan Africa

A leading supplier of premium hotel amenities, equipment and guest products is seeking a commercially astute, results-driven Sales & Marketing Manager to drive business growth, expand market share and build strategic hospitality relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive new business development across South Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa.

• Identify and secure opportunities with hotels, lodges, resorts, guest houses and hospitality groups.

• Build strong relationships with owners, procurement teams, developers, architects and designers.

• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and proposals through to negotiation and closing.

• Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to achieve revenue targets.

• Manage key accounts, cross-selling, upselling and long-term client relationships.

• Lead marketing initiatives, product launches, trade shows and industry events.

• Recruit, lead, coach and develop a high-performing sales team.

• Set and manage sales targets, KPIs, pipelines and performance.

• Provide accurate forecasting and strategic recommendations to senior management.

• Take overall accountability for sales budgets, revenue growth and team performance.

Minimum Requirements:

• 8+ years' experience in Sales Management, Business Development or Sales & Marketing Management.

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Sales, Marketing, Business, Commerce or related field.

• Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and managing high-performing teams.

• Experience managing sales across multiple regions and/or African markets.

• Strong business development, negotiation, presentation and closing skills.

• Excellent relationship-building and communication abilities.

• Strong commercial acumen and strategic & operational capability.

• Well-connected within the hospitality sector.

• Valid driver's licence and passport.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

• Willing and able to travel extensively.

• Must live within commuting distance of Isando, Gauteng.

Advantageous:

• Hospitality industry experience.

• Experience selling hotel amenities, guest products, FMCG, textiles, consumables or related products.

• Existing relationships with hotel groups, developers, procurement companies or hospitality consultants.

• Experience with local and international hospitality brands.
