Process Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, evaluate, and optimise process flows and plant systems.
• Perform process calculations, simulations, and performance analysis.
• Support project execution from concept through to commissioning.
• Develop and review engineering reports, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Conduct process troubleshooting and identify improvement opportunities.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams and project stakeholders.
• Ensure designs and solutions comply with industry standards, safety requirements, and best practices.
• Participate in site visits, commissioning activities, and operational support where required.

Minimum Requirements

• BEng/BSc/BTech Degree in Chemical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 3 to 5 years' experience as a Process Engineer.
• Proven experience within the mining, mineral processing, or related heavy industrial sector.
• Strong understanding of process design principles, mass balances, equipment sizing, and plant optimisation.
• Experience with process simulation software and engineering design tools will be advantageous.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within project teams.
