POSITION INFO:

We are seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join a dynamic and growing organisation. This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in maintaining financial integrity, driving process improvements, and supporting strategic decision-making across the business.
Key Responsibilities :

• Prepare and assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure all reconciliations are accurate and up to date.
• Process journal entries, accruals, and provisions.
• Support the preparation of management accounts, annual financial statements, and tax-related reporting
• Reconcile bank accounts, debtors, and creditors.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable activities.
• Ensure financial transactions are processed accurately and within required timelines.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Investigate and report on variances between actual and budgeted performance.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business objectives.
• Perform cost accounting activities and profitability assessments.
• Analyse financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
• Deliver meaningful insights to support commercial decision-making.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Professional qualification through SAICA or CIMA.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a Financial Accountant role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, automation, integrations, and complex functions
