Sales Executive – Fuel

• Our client is looking for an experienced Sales Executive to join their team in Germiston.
• This is a field-based B2B sales role for someone who is comfortable picking up the phone, getting in front of decision-makers, finding opportunities and turning prospects into long-term customers.
• You won't be sitting behind a desk waiting for leads to come in. You'll be out on the road, meeting businesses, building relationships and growing your own customer portfolio.

Minimum Requirements:

• Matric
• Sales qualification (Advantageous)
• Minimum 3 years' external B2B sales experience.
• Sales experience in these industries: Fuel, Transport, Logistics, Fleet Management, Construction, Manufacturing, Agriculture (Advantageous)
• A proven track record of winning new business and opening new accounts.
• Comfortable spending most of your working day visiting customers.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Computer literate, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
• Target-driven, self-motivated and able to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and target new commercial fuel customers.
• Cold call prospective clients and secure meetings.
• Visit customers daily and build strong, long-term relationships.
• Manage your own sales pipeline from initial prospecting through to account opening.
• Prepare quotations and negotiate commercial agreements.
• Work closely with management to achieve monthly sales and growth targets.
• Build and grow a profitable portfolio of commercial accounts.
