About our client:

Our client manages a large network of highly automated printing plants equipped with the most technologically advanced equipment, ensuring highly efficient and fully automated production processes. Their print capabilities extend from short- and medium- to long-run requirements of all printed material. Our client has on-going implementation of faster, state-of-the-art technology ensures highly efficient, fully automated production processes that deliver quick, high quality printing of almost any format. Our client has the ability to split a print run across multiple sites or multiple presses in one plant.

What you will be doing:

• Provide comprehensive support for network operations and the business unit, including monitoring and maintaining services.
  
• Monitor server and data backup processes, and configure network devices as directed.
  
• Oversee device management systems, handling tasks like software distribution, updates, patching, antivirus protection, and imaging.
  
• Analyse log files to identify and correct errors, and assist with network account creation and troubleshooting.
  
• Develop and maintain scripts to automate repetitive tasks and data transfers to improve efficiency.
  
• Ensure service tickets are resolved or escalated promptly and that scheduled technical tasks are completed on time.
  
• Maintain technical specifications and infrastructure requirements for work processes.
  
• Support the department’s mission and values, participate in professional development, and travel between sites or perform other duties as assigned.
  

What our client is looking for:

• MCSE or equivalent qualification.
  
• 5 - 8 years of experience in LAN/WAN environments and experience in Microsoft Server environments.
  
• Experience with Microsoft Windows Desktop/Server OS, web technologies like IIS, Remote Desktop Services, and network troubleshooting (specifically HP Aruba LAN and Wi-Fi).
  
• Experience with virtualization (Hyper-V/VMware), server/storage hardware (HP), and IP telephony (Teams/3CX) is highly valued.
  
• Familiarity with O365, Azure, SharePoint, and threat detection is considered an advantage.
  
• Applicants must demonstrate the ability to document technical work, maintain efficient schedules, handle multiple assignments, and work independently.
  
• The role requires the ability to work after hours for maintenance or projects, a willingness to cross-train, and a strong aptitude for collaborative work with colleagues.
