Junior IT Administrator - Durban

SUMMARY:
A retail company in Durban is seeking an IT & Digital Support Administrator to provide day-to-day technical, administrative and digital support across the business.

POSITION INFO:

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining hardware and software, managing data and cellphone contracts, supporting the company’s social media profiles, coordinating advertising activities and assisting with stock-related administration.

The ideal candidate will have a completed IT degree, at least two years’ experience in a similar position, strong organisational skills and a willingness to assist with ad hoc duties as required. A valid driver’s licence and active driving experience are essential, as the role may require travel.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage company hardware and software.
• Manage and monitor data and cellphone contracts.
• Maintain the company’s social media profiles, including: TikTok Facebook Instagram
• Coordinate advertising activities and related requirements.
• Process stock adjustments accurately and timeously.
• Provide general IT and administrative support to the business.
• Complete ad hoc duties and projects as required.
• Travel when required to support business operations.

Desired Experience & Qualification

• CompletedIT degree.
• Minimum2 years’ experience in a similar position.
• Excel proficiency– beginner level essential.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Valid driver’s licence essential.
• Must be anactive and confident driver.
• Ability and willingness to travel as required.
