Introduction

Our client is seeking a driven and reliable Sales Representative to manage and grow sales within the informal sector in Pretoria, focusing on the distribution of meat and protein products. The role requires someone confident in field sales, able to build strong customer relationships, and comfortable travelling daily to meet sales targets and service customers effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Meat & Protein Sales — Sell and distribute meat and protein products within the informal sector

• Territory Management — Manage sales activities across Pretoria

• Field Sales — Travel daily to execute sales responsibilities

• Customer Relationship Building — Build and maintain strong relationships with informal market customers

• Sales Growth — Identify opportunities to increase sales and customer spend

• Sales Administration — Handle relevant sales admin and ad hoc duties

• Product Promotion — Promote available products, specials and value offerings

Minimum Requirements

• Experience in sales within the informal sector (advantageous)

• Experience in meat, protein or FMCG distribution (advantageous)

• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills

• Ability to work independently and manage a daily sales route

• Valid driver’s licence

• Reliable, self‑motivated and target‑driven
