Textiles Sales Consultant

SUMMARY:
Our client is seeking an experienced and results-driven Textiles Sales Consultant to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing customers and developing sales across the Helderberg and Overberg areas. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years’ experience in external sales and customer service within a similar industry, with knowledge of the Upholstery/Foam industry essential. We are looking for a self-motivated, target-driven individual with a proven sales track record, excellent communication and relationship-building skills, and the ability to work independently while being a strong team player. Preference will be given to candidates who reside in the Helderberg or Overberg areas.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 5+ years’ external sales and/or customer service experience within a similar industry.
• Knowledge and experience within the Upholstery/Foam industry is essential.
• Matric certificate is essential.
• Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle are essential.
• Clear credit record.
• Demonstrated ability to consistently deliver required results.
• Proven track record in sales, telemarketing, and customer servicing.
• Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently while also being a strong team player.
• Strong time management and organisational skills.
• Excellent relationship-building and customer service skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Target-driven and results-oriented.
• Demonstrated ability and confidence in selling.

DUTIES:

• Maintain and grow the existing customer base across current and related industries by providing a consultative, responsive, and efficient sales service.
• Service and maintain the active customer base.
