Regional Group Financial Manager

My client is a well-established player within the power and energy solutions sector, supporting operations across multiple African jurisdictions. As the business continues its continental growth journey, they are looking for a commercially astute finance professional to take ownership of the financial infrastructure behind that expansion.

This is not a traditional Financial Manager role focused solely on month-end reporting. You'll play a key role in establishing new African entities, implementing finance processes, managing cross-border reporting and ensuring financial governance across multiple countries. Key Responsibilities

• Drive the financial establishment of new entities across Africa
• Manage monthly financial reporting across multiple jurisdictions
• Oversee regional billing and revenue management processes
• Implement and strengthen financial controls and governance frameworks
• Coordinate statutory, tax and compliance requirements with local advisors
• Manage relationships with in-country accountants and external service providers
• Oversee regional cash flow, treasury and intercompany funding requirements
• Improve finance processes, reporting structures and ERP implementation initiatives

Job Experience & Skills Required

• Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance or related field
• CA(SA), ACCA, CIMA or similar professional qualification advantageous
• 5 to 8 years' Financial Management experience
• Proven exposure to multiple African jurisdictions
• Experience establishing new entities and coordinating with legal, tax and accounting advisors
• Strong management accounting, reporting and consolidation experience
• Experience managing external accountants or regional finance teams
• Advanced Excel and ERP systems experience
• Knowledge of tax compliance, financial controls and multi-currency environments
• Exposure to multinational or cross-border operations highly beneficial
