Industrial Cleaning Supervisor

About the Role

Our client is looking for a diligent and proactive Industrial Cleaning Supervisor to manage and execute cleaning services for their facilities in Cape Town . This role requires a hands-on approach to ensure all operational areas meet stringent hygiene and safety standards. You will be responsible for coordinating daily cleaning activities, managing a team of cleaning professionals, and maintaining a high level of cleanliness across the premises. This is a critical position for maintaining operational integrity and a safe working environment in a dynamic setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily cleaning operations, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and to standard.
• Supervise, schedule, and provide training to the cleaning staff.
• Conduct routine quality checks and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Manage and maintain stock levels of cleaning supplies and ensure proper use of equipment.
• Enforce health and safety protocols, ensuring a secure working environment for the team.
• Liaise with facility management to address any specific cleaning requirements or issues.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in industrial or commercial cleaning, with 2 years in a supervisory capacity.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate a cleaning team.
• In-depth knowledge of industrial cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations relevant to industrial environments.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage staff and liaise with management in Cape Town .
