Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their Port Elizabeth team,

• Plan,coordinate, and manage facilities-related projects from inception tocompletion.
• Developproject scopes, timelines, budgets, and resource plans.
• Monitorproject progress and ensure delivery within agreed timelines and budgets.
• Manageproject risks and implement mitigation strategies where required.
• Coordinatecontractors, suppliers, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
• Prepareproject reports and provide regular updates to management.
• Oversee theday-to-day management and maintenance of facilities and associatedinfrastructure.
• Ensurepreventative and reactive maintenance programmes are effectively implemented.
• Monitorservice providers and contractors to ensure compliance with service levelagreements.
• Managefacility upgrades, renovations, refurbishments, and improvement initiatives.
• Ensurebuilding systems, equipment, and assets are maintained to required standards.
• Conductfacility inspections and identify improvement opportunities.
• Supportoperational efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop andimplement operational processes and procedures.
• Monitor keyoperational performance indicators and prepare management reports.
• Ensureeffective utilisation of resources, equipment, and facilities.
• Identifyareas for cost reduction and operational optimisation.
• Assist withbusiness continuity planning and risk management initiatives
• Develop andmanage project and facilities budgets.
• Monitorexpenditure and ensure cost-effective utilisation of resources.
• Reviewquotations, tenders, and service contracts.
• Preparefinancial forecasts and project cost reports.
• Ensureprocurement activities comply with company policies and procedures
  

Requirements

• Grade12
• Relevanttertiary qualification in Project Management, Facilities Management, OperationsManagement, Engineering, Building Services, Property Management, or a relatedfield
• Minimum 5years' experience in project management, facilities management, or operationsmanagement
• Experiencemanaging a team
• Provenexperience managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Strongknowledge of facilities maintenance and building services
• Experiencemanaging contractors, suppliers, and service providers
• Soundunderstanding of budgeting, procurement, and cost control
• Knowledgeof Occupational Health and Safety legislation and compliance requirements
• Validdriver's licence and willingness to travel when required
• Computerliterate with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
