Job description
An established motor retail group is seeking experienced Financial Business Partners to provide strategic financial support and business partnering across multiple dealerships. The successful candidates will work closely with operational management and finance teams to drive profitability, improve efficiencies, strengthen controls, and support sustainable business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead dealership budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Analyse management accounts, variances, cash flow, and working capital performance.
- Partner with Sales, Parts, Service, and Aftersales departments to improve profitability.
- Prepare monthly financial reports, KPI packs, and business performance analyses.
- Conduct financial modelling and provide strategic recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies, internal controls, and audit requirements.
- Monitor debtors, creditors, stock funding, and warranty-related processes.
- Identify financial risks and implement corrective actions.
- Support and guide dealership finance teams and operational staff.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related qualification.
- CIMA or CA(SA) qualification will be advantageous.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in financial analysis, management accounting, or financial business partnering.
- Automotive dealership or motor retail experience is highly advantageous.
- Experience working with senior stakeholders and operational management teams.
