SATIC: Talent Acquisition Sourcing Specialist (12-Month Fixed-Term Contract)

We are seeking a proactive and innovative Talent Acquisition Sourcing Specialist who is passionate about identifying and engaging exceptional talent across global markets.
This role is critical in building sustainable talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs. The successful candidate will leverage advanced sourcing methodologies, market intelligence, talent mapping, and employer branding initiatives to identify top talent in highly competitive and niche skill areas. We are seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Sourcing Specialist to support strategic hiring initiatives by proactively identifying, engaging, and nurturing talent across multiple disciplines. The successful candidate will focus on developing talent pipelines for hard-to-fill and high-demand roles, utilising innovative sourcing techniques and data-driven insights to ensure a consistent flow of qualified candidates into the recruitment process.

Responsibilities:
Strategic Sourcing & Talent Pipelining
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies to identify high-quality talent for current and future hiring requirements.
- Build and maintain proactive talent pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill roles.
- Conduct market mapping and talent landscape research to identify talent pools and competitor talent.
- Utilise advanced sourcing techniques including Boolean search, social recruiting, referrals, networking, and talent communities.
Candidate Engagement
- Conduct initial qualification conversations to assess candidate suitability, motivation, and interest.
- Ensure a positive and engaging candidate experience throughout the sourcing process.
Recruitment Partnership
- Partner closely with Talent Acquisition Specialists and Hiring Managers to understand hiring requirements and workforce planning needs.
- Participate in intake meetings.
- Present qualified talent pipelines and sourcing progress updates to stakeholders.
Employer Branding
- Support employer branding initiatives designed to attract top talent.
- Promote PwC SATIC's Employee Value Proposition across digital platforms and talent networks.
- Leverage social media channels to enhance brand visibility within target talent communities.
Compliance & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of sourcing activity, talent pipelines, and candidate interactions.
- Ensure all sourcing activities comply with organisational policies, privacy requirements, and recruitment governance standards.
- Generate sourcing and talent pipeline reports as required.
Requirements:
- 2-4 years' experience in talent sourcing, recruitment research, talent intelligence, executive search, or a related recruitment role.
- Demonstrable success sourcing scarce and niche skills across multiple disciplines.
- Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, talent intelligence platforms, and social media sourcing tools.
- Strong understanding of Boolean search methodologies and advanced sourcing techniques.
- Experience conducting talent mapping and market research exercises.
- Experience sourcing for technical, digital, professional services, or consulting-related roles would be highly advantageous.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Qualifications:
- Grade 12 Certificate
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (highly advantageous)
