About the Role

Our client is seeking an accomplished and forward-thinking Remote Procurement Manager to lead their purchasing function from anywhere in South Africa , with a specific focus on supporting operations near Richards Bay . This fully remote position requires a strategic leader who can drive best-in-class procurement practices, manage a diverse supplier base, and achieve significant cost efficiencies. You will be responsible for developing and implementing robust sourcing strategies, overseeing contract management, and ensuring the reliable supply of materials and services essential to the company's success, fostering a high-performance culture within a distributed team.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive procurement strategies aligned with business objectives, focusing on cost reduction, quality improvement, and supply chain resilience.
• Lead and mentor a remote procurement team, fostering collaboration and ensuring high levels of performance and adherence to policies.
• Oversee the end-to-end procurement process, from needs identification and supplier selection to contract negotiation and performance management.

Requirements
