ICT Operations Manager – Stellenbosch

Our client is looking for a senior ICT professional who is confident in both operations and business development. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced ICT professional who has a strong background in team management, client engagement, sales, and business development.

The successful candidate should be comfortable managing a team, engaging at a corporate level with clients, identifying opportunities, understanding client needs, and driving new business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the ICT operations team
• Manage and assist the technical team with operational and technical requirements
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients
• Arrange and conduct client meetings
• Identify client requirements and understand their business needs
• Develop new business opportunities and contribute towards revenue growth
• Provide clients with appropriate ICT solutions based on their requirements
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure effective service delivery
• Ensure operational objectives and client expectations are met
• Contribute to the overall growth and development of the business

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum 6–8 years’ experience managing a team within the ICT industry
• Extensive knowledge and understanding of the ICT industry
• Proven experience working professionally with clients
• Previous sales and business development experience is essential
• Strong ability to identify and develop new business opportunities
• Comfortable meeting with prospective and existing clients
• Ability to understand and identify client needs and business requirements
• Good understanding of a corporate business environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong leadership and relationship-building abilities
