Junior Legal and Risk Counsel

A leading logistics and freight management group is looking for a Legal & Risk Counsel (Junior) to support the Head of Legal & Risk across a diverse range of commercial, legal, risk and insurance matters.

THE ROLE

You will gain exposure to:

• Reviewing, drafting and negotiating commercial contracts and agreements.
• Legal research and advice across commercial, maritime, environmental, labour and regulatory legislation.
• Risk management, insurance and claims, including marine liability.
• Supporting acquisitions, projects and business development with legal due diligence.
• Corporate governance, compliance and internal policies.
• Liaising with external attorneys, brokers and key business stakeholders.
• Preparing legal memoranda, reports and management documentation.

WHAT WE''RE LOOKING FOR

• LLB Degree essential
• Completed articles or relevant experience in a corporate, commercial legal, risk or compliance environment.
• Strong contract drafting and interpretation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong analytical ability and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Professional, commercially minded and eager to learn.

Advantageous: Exposure to commercial law, logistics, supply chain, maritime or transport environments.
