Investment Transfers Consultant (09-month contract)

About the team:

The Transfers and Onboarding Team is responsible for the administration of Voluntary, TFSA, Section 14 and Living Annuity transfers. These include transfers into our client and transfers from our client to external companies. This must be done accurately and within agreed upon turnaround times. The team liaise directly with transferring companies during the lifespan of the transfer.

Responsibilities:

· Administer transfer instructions in line with legislation and business processes

· Understand specific transfer requirements for the various Life Companies

· Manage flow of work items (queries, requests, and instructions) in line with agreed SLAs

· Contact Life Companies to chase and expedite transfers in progress

· Expedite unit transfers with various competitor unit trust management companies

· Take full responsibility and own transfer process from cradle to grave

· Manage inbound calls from other Life Companies

· Manage flow of work in close conjunction with other IP Operations and Servicing teams

· Log and resolve queries

· Identify trends and raise with outsourced service provider on a continuous basis

· Maintain agreed upon turnaround times on all administrative tasks

· Attend regular team meetings

· Be able to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

· Be approachable, available, and helpful as the point of escalation and clarity

Requirements:

· Asset Management, Retirement Funds and Unit Trust Offshore is essential

· Minimum 1 years’ experience in dealing with Section 14, Living Annuity, voluntary, and offshore transfers

· Relevant degree/diploma (advantage)

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Package

· Excellent business writing skills

· Strong knowledge of transfer processes and requirements
