Retail Team Leader - Port Shepstone

Our FMCG/Retail Client is currently looking for a Retail Team Leader based in Port Shepstone

Must reside in the Port Shepstone surrounding area
The Team Leader is responsible for overseeing the store as a whole.
Experience in retail and some junior managing experience, such as a supervisor or assistant manager.

R8365 -R9193 depending on experience (this excludes incentives and commission).

• High School (matric) (Required)
• Management: 1 year (Preferred)
• Retail: 3 years (Preferred)

Key Responsibilities

• Will manage a small team of 2 Sales Assistants.
• Achieve store sales and GP targets
• Visual merchandising management
• Showing what World Class service looks like
• Ensuring store is fully stocked and orders placed accordingly
• Merchandise and Stock Controls
• Shrinkage/Stock Loss
• Responsible for all admin functions
• Management of all staff

Technical and Functional Requirements

• Matric or equivalent
• Previous management experience (Desirable)
• Strong leadership abilities
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
• Knowledge of retail management best practice
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Strong IT and numerical skills
• Sound Product Knowledge
