Water Engineer
Our client a leading global engineering consultancy is seeking a Water Engineer to join their team in Midrand. The successful candidate will be involved in the planning design coordination and delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects across multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Requirements:
- ECSA Candidate Engineer or Professional registration preferred
- 6 - 9 years relevant experience in water and wastewater infrastructure
- Education: BEng / BSc in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
- Proven experience across water and wastewater infrastructure projects
- Strong technical analytical and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects budgets and deadlines
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects
- Undertake hydraulic calculations pump station design and pipeline sizing
- Develop technical specifications reports and tender documentation
- Coordinate civil mechanical electrical process and structural interfaces
- Conduct design reviews and quality assurance
- Support procurement contractor engagement and technical evaluations
- Undertake construction monitoring site inspections and commissioning support
- Manage budgets programmes and project risks
- Mentor junior engineers technicians and graduates
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
