E-commerce Analyst

About the Role

Our client is looking for a data-savvy E-commerce Analyst to join their growing team in Benoni . This role is critical for understanding customer behavior, optimizing the online sales funnel, and identifying opportunities for growth through data analysis. You will be responsible for tracking key performance indicators, generating insightful reports, and providing actionable recommendations to improve website performance and drive e-commerce revenue. This position offers a chance to work with significant data sets and influence strategic decisions within the online retail space.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and interpret data from various e-commerce sources, including website analytics, sales data, and customer feedback.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as conversion rates, average order value, and customer acquisition cost.
• Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in e-commerce data to uncover insights and opportunities for business improvement.
• Conduct A/B testing and other experiments to optimize website usability, marketing campaigns, and user experience.
• Provide data-driven recommendations to marketing, product, and operations teams to enhance online sales strategies.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in e-commerce analytics and data visualization.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an E-commerce Analyst or in a similar data analysis role.
• Proficiency with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or similar.
• Strong understanding of statistical analysis, data modeling, and data visualization techniques.
• Experience with SQL, Python, or R for data manipulation and analysis is highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Marketing, or a related quantitative field.
