Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth.
• Conduct comprehensive oral health assessments and identify signs of oral diseases.
• Educate patients on proper brushing, flossing techniques, and dietary habits for oral health.
• Administer fluoride treatments and dental sealants as needed.
• Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays).
• Sterilize dental instruments and maintain a clean and organized treatment room.

Requirements

• Degree or diploma in Dental Hygiene from an accredited institution.
• Current registration and license to practice as a Dental Hygienist in the Eastern Cape .
• Proficiency in performing dental cleanings and patient education.
• Knowledge of dental instruments, materials, and dental software.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to infection control protocols.
