Project Manager - Offshore Construction

About the Role

Our client is seeking an accomplished Project Manager with extensive experience in Offshore Construction to lead critical projects within the oil and gas sector , operating under a fully remote management structure. This pivotal role involves overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of complex offshore projects from inception to completion, ensuring they meet scope, budget, schedule, and quality requirements. You will be responsible for managing multidisciplinary teams, coordinating with contractors and stakeholders, and mitigating project risks, all while leveraging advanced communication and project management tools in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed project plans, including scope definition, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Manage project execution, ensuring adherence to timelines, quality standards, and safety regulations.
• Oversee and coordinate the activities of engineering, procurement, and construction teams and contractors.
• Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, developing mitigation strategies.
• Facilitate effective communication among all project stakeholders, including clients, partners, and internal teams.
• Monitor project progress and financial performance, providing regular reports to senior management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical) or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years focused on offshore oil and gas construction projects.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale, complex offshore projects.
• Strong understanding of offshore construction methodologies, marine operations, and relevant industry standards.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
