About the Role
Our client is seeking a caring and dedicated Foundational Learning Support Practitioner to join their team in Soweto . Key Responsibilities
- Provide targeted support to young children experiencing difficulties in foundational learning areas such as literacy and numeracy.
- Assist in the development and implementation of individual learning plans and interventions.
- Collaborate with teachers to integrate support strategies into classroom activities.
- Work with parents to reinforce learning at home and provide guidance on supporting their child's development.
- Monitor and document student progress, reporting on effectiveness of interventions and identifying further needs.
Requirements
- Qualification in Early Childhood Development, Learning Support, or a related field.
- Experience working with young children, particularly those facing learning challenges.
- Understanding of foundational literacy and numeracy development.
