Enterprise Architect

Uyanda is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to shape the technology and organisational strategy underpinning our clients’ digital transformation initiatives. You will design enterprise-wide architecture solutions that align business strategy, processes, data, and technology, ensuring sustainable and scalable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain enterprise architecture frameworks, principles, and roadmaps aligned to client business strategy.
• Assess current-state architecture and design future-state solutions across business, data, application, and technology domains.
• Provide architectural governance and guidance across concurrent client projects and programmes.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions that support client strategic objectives.
• Collaborate with senior client stakeholders to align architecture decisions with business and organisational effectiveness goals.
• Ensure architecture solutions support scalability, security, integration, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; postgraduate qualification advantageous.
• Enterprise architecture certification (TOGAF or equivalent) required.
• Minimum 8-10 years’ IT experience, including at least 4 years in an enterprise or solution architecture role.
• Demonstrated experience designing enterprise architecture within Financial Services, Energy, Manufacturing, or Consumer Goods sectors.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms, integration patterns, and enterprise data architecture.
• Experience working within a consulting or advisory environment advantageous.

• Strong stakeholder management skills, able to engage credibly with senior executives and technical teams.
• Deep technical breadth across application, data, integration, and infrastructure domains.

• Sound understanding of governance, risk, and compliance considerations in enterprise design.
• Strong analytical and structured problem-solving capability.
