About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Agricultural Farm Manager to oversee operations at a prominent farm located in Midrand . This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient and profitable cultivation of crops and management of livestock, contributing to the region's agricultural output. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive farm management plans, including crop rotation, planting schedules, and harvesting strategies.
• Supervise and train farm staff, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and efficient task execution.
• Manage inventory of seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, and equipment, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
• Monitor crop health, soil conditions, and weather patterns, implementing necessary interventions.
• Oversee livestock health and management, ensuring proper feeding, breeding, and welfare.
• Maintain detailed records of farm activities, production yields, expenses, and labor.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in farm management or a similar agricultural role.
• Proven experience with crop cultivation and livestock management .
• Strong understanding of agricultural machinery, irrigation systems, and pest control methods.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficiency in record‑keeping and basic financial management.
