About the Role

Our client requires a dedicated Industrial Site Delivery Specialist to manage the transport and delivery of materials to various industrial sites in and around Richards Bay. This role demands a driver who is not only proficient in operating commercial vehicles but also understands the specific safety protocols and requirements of industrial environments. You will play a crucial part in ensuring that construction projects and industrial operations receive their necessary supplies on time and without damage. This position is ideal for a safety-oriented driver with experience in challenging site conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate delivery trucks to transport materials to industrial locations.
• Navigate complex site access routes and adhere to specific site entry procedures.
• Ensure proper loading, securing, and unloading of industrial materials, often requiring precision.
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections, with a focus on suitability for rough terrain if applicable.
• Maintain detailed delivery logs and communicate status updates to site managers and the dispatch team.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license, preferably Code 10 or 14, with PDP.
• Demonstrated experience in delivering to industrial sites or construction zones.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations within industrial settings.
• Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to changing delivery schedules.
• Good physical stamina and the ability to handle potentially heavy or awkward loads.
