About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled Software Project Manager to join their technology team in Benoni . This role focuses on managing the entire lifecycle of software development projects, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software solutions. You will work closely with engineering, product, and QA teams to define project scope, manage resources, and mitigate risks. The hybrid work model allows for flexibility while ensuring essential face-to-face collaboration for critical team activities and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the planning, execution, and delivery of software development projects.
• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Coordinate software development teams, including developers, testers, and designers.
• Track project progress, identify deviations from the plan, and implement corrective actions.
• Manage project risks, issues, and dependencies throughout the development lifecycle.
• Facilitate communication between technical teams, product owners, and management.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Software Project Manager or in a similar software development role.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with project management tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
