About the Role

Our client seeks an organized and proactive Supply Chain Coordinator to manage logistics and inventory for their facility in Richards Bay . This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth flow of materials from suppliers to production and the timely dispatch of finished goods. You will be responsible for coordinating with various stakeholders, optimizing inventory levels, and maintaining efficient supply chain operations. Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the procurement of raw materials and components, ensuring timely delivery to meet production schedules.
• Manage inventory levels, conduct regular stock takes, and implement strategies to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
• Liaise with logistics providers to arrange transportation of goods, both inbound and outbound.
• Monitor supplier performance and address any issues related to delivery times, quality, or costs.
• Maintain accurate records of all supply chain transactions and generate relevant reports.
• Collaborate with production and sales teams to forecast demand and align supply chain activities accordingly.

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in supply chain coordination , logistics, or procurement.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and ERP software .
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of import/export procedures is a plus.
