About the Role

Our client is looking for an innovative Online Course Developer & Facilitator to join their fully remote team, based remotely but serving learners across Gauteng and beyond. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering engaging and effective online learning experiences. You will work independently, leveraging your expertise in e-learning platforms and instructional design to create high-quality digital content. This position is ideal for a self-motivated professional who is passionate about online education and committed to providing students with a superior learning journey, fostering a strong sense of community and engagement within the virtual classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop interactive online courses using various multimedia tools and e-learning authoring software.
• Facilitate online discussions, provide timely feedback, and support student learning and engagement.
• Create and manage course content, including videos, readings, assignments, and assessments.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure course accuracy and relevance.
• Monitor student progress and performance, making adjustments to course delivery as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, or a related field; Master's preferred.
• Proven experience in developing and facilitating online courses.
• Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as Moodle, Canvas, or Blackboard.
• Strong skills in multimedia content creation and instructional design principles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage remote learners effectively.
