Technical Sales Engineer (Mining)

Our client is a global leader in mineral processing technology and equipment serving the mining, quarrying and recycling industries. They are looking for a driven and technically minded Technical Sales Engineer to join their team.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the mining and mineral processing sectors.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with mining clients and key industry stakeholders.
• Understand client technical requirements and recommend suitable equipment and solutions.
• Prepare technical proposals, quotations and presentations.
• Work closely with engineering, operations and technical teams to support project delivery.
• Attend client meetings, site visits and technical discussions.
• Provide technical and commercial support throughout the sales process.
• Monitor mining industry developments, market trends and competitor activities.
• Assist clients with identifying practical and cost-effective technical solutions.

Minimum Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or Mining Engineering.
• 3–5 years' experience in technical sales, business development or applications engineering within the mining or mineral processing industry.
• Good understanding of mineral processing equipment, systems and applications.
• Ability to understand technical requirements and convert them into practical solutions.
• Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Commercially minded with the ability to identify and develop new business opportunities.
• Willingness to travel to mining sites and client locations as required.
