Job description

To manage the activities of the Administrative Clerks. To ensure that all administration-related functions are carried out correctly and on time. Making sure that a high level of customer service is achieved. To coordinate and plan accurate stock takes and cycle counts and accurate pickings of stock national deliveries. Making sure that a high level of customer service is achieved while maintaining our core values (Teamwork, Trust, Innovation, Respect, Integrity and Quality) and culture.

  • Invoice Weekly – Distribution 100%

GRV

  • Time from arrival to GVR (turnaround time in hours)

Picking

  • All pickings completed by Cut off times Local 9h00 and Long Distance 15h00

Report

  • 100% Tracking report

ABC Count Productivity, stock accuracy and stock verification

  • 100% Accuracy

Warehouse and Stock

  • Ensure warehouse space is manageable and there are no constrains, consolidation of stock and 100% bin integrity.
  • Managing bond and free stock
  • Managing NRCS
  • Managing pickings and picking team/inventory team
  • Stock losses avoidable at any cost

Occupational Health and Safety Inspection

  • Ensure 100% Compliance
  • Ensure general cleanliness of the warehouse

Internal/External Risks

  • Finding solutions

Action Plans

  • 100% Compliance to the actions plans

Team work and Discipline

  • Promoting teamwork to enhance a friendly and productive environment to promote and achieve growth.
  • Maintaining discipline within the department to ensure that productivity standards of subordinates are met and staff morale is kept high.
  • Implementing disciplinary or counselling procedures.

Adhoc Duties

  • Reasonable and lawful and as required from time to time by the Manager.
  • Participate in organizational processes.
  • Participate in departmental functions.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Matric
  • Diploma/Degree in Logistics Management or in Transport and Supply Chain Management and/or in Warehousing and Distribution Management relevant Tertiary equivalent qualification.
  • 4-5 years’ experience in Logistics and Transport Industry

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED

Knowledge Required.

  • WMS System
  • K-motion
  • Picking Processes and Procedures
  • RFC, GRV, GRN, Order, Picking Slip, POD and Waybills
  • Invoicing and Credit Notes
  • In house Systems and Standard Operating Procedures
  • Standard Operating processes and procedures
  • Picking processes and Procedures
  • Inventory management
  • Knowledge of the product
