About the Role

Our client is looking for a dedicated Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join their specialized therapy team in Soweto . This role involves assessing and treating infants, children, and adolescents who have difficulties with their daily living and learning skills. You will develop and implement personalized therapy programs to improve fine motor skills, sensory processing, coordination, and self-care abilities. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments for pediatric clients.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address fine motor, gross motor, sensory, and self-regulation challenges.
• Provide therapeutic interventions through engaging activities and evidence-based practices.
• Educate and train parents and caregivers on strategies to support their child's development at home and in the community.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, educators, and therapists to ensure a holistic approach to child care.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Registered with the relevant professional board (e.g., HPCSA in South Africa).
• Experience working with pediatric populations across various age groups and developmental needs.
• Knowledge of pediatric conditions and therapeutic approaches (e.g., sensory integration, developmental therapy).
• Excellent assessment, documentation, and communication skills.
