About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly motivated Remote Equipment Installer & Troubleshooter to join their innovative team, supporting clients across South Africa from a remote capacity. In this pivotal role, you will provide remote technical assistance, guiding customers through installation processes and resolving complex equipment issues via video calls, phone, and remote access tools. Your expertise will ensure seamless deployment and operation of our client's cutting-edge technology, enabling them to meet their business objectives. Key Responsibilities
- Provide remote technical support to customers for equipment installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Develop and deliver clear, concise remote training sessions to end-users and on-site support staff.
- Diagnose equipment malfunctions using remote diagnostic tools and guide users through resolution steps.
- Document all support interactions, resolutions, and technical findings in the company's CRM system.
- Collaborate with internal engineering and support teams to collaborate and resolve complex technical problems.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge base of products, services, and common troubleshooting procedures.
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience in technical support, equipment installation, or a similar field, preferably in a remote capacity.
- Proficiency with remote access tools, video conferencing software, and ticketing systems.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts and troubleshooting methodologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
- Self-motivated with strong organizational skills, able to manage workload independently in a remote setting.
- Relevant technical certifications are a plus.
