About the Role

Our client is seeking a strategic and innovative Logistics Network Planner to join their fully remote global team. This role is responsible for designing, optimizing, and managing the company's supply chain network to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels. You will analyze current network operations, identify potential improvements, and develop strategies for network expansion or reconfiguration. This is a key position that requires deep analytical skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a virtual setting to drive significant business impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze existing supply chain networks to identify opportunities for optimization in terms of cost, speed, and capacity.
• Develop and model alternative network designs and strategies using advanced planning tools.
• Collaborate with operations, transportation, and procurement teams to implement network changes.
• Forecast future logistics needs based on business growth projections and market trends.
• Evaluate and recommend optimal locations for distribution centers, warehouses, and cross-dock facilities.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of the logistics network strategy and operational flows.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain planning, logistics network design, or operations research.
• Proven experience with network modeling software and optimization techniques.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a deep understanding of supply chain principles.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders remotely.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage complex projects in a remote environment.
