About the Role

Our client seeks a highly proficient Master Auto Electrician to lead their electrical diagnostics and repair services in George . This role is pivotal in troubleshooting and rectifying complex electrical systems, from basic wiring to advanced electronic modules in modern vehicles. You will be instrumental in ensuring the highest levels of vehicle performance and reliability, working with a team of dedicated professionals. Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair intricate electrical issues across a wide spectrum of vehicles, including lighting, starting, charging, and accessory systems.
  • Install and configure aftermarket electronic components, such as alarms, sound systems, and navigation units.
  • Interpret wiring diagrams and technical service bulletins to accurately identify and resolve electrical faults.
  • Perform advanced diagnostics using specialized equipment like oscilloscopes and multimeters.
  • Advise service advisors and workshop managers on the scope and complexity of electrical repairs.
  • Stay updated with the latest automotive electrical technologies and diagnostic procedures.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Master Auto Electrician or similar senior role.
  • Certification in automotive electrical systems or a related trade qualification.
  • In-depth knowledge of vehicle communication networks (e.g., CAN bus, LIN bus).
  • Proficiency with diagnostic scan tools and electrical testing equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and manage complex diagnostic challenges effectively.
  • A strong commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
