Support Consultant (Veritas)

Requirements: Qualifications and Experience: - Intermediate skills and experience in managing and supporting Veritas NetBackup and Hitachi VSP 5500 storage systems. - Strong experience in troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. - Experience with storage performance monitoring and optimization. Preferred Qualifications: - Relevant certifications in storage management or related fields. - Experience with other storage systems and technologies. - Experience with Veritas NetBackup. Duties and Responsibilities: - Responsible for upgrading Veritas NetBackup from version 10 to version 11. - Supporting and maintaining our Hitachi VSP 5500 storage environment. - Storage Performance Monitoring and Optimization - Use your strong understanding of storage systems to troubleshoot, resolve issues and maintain storage environment efficiently. - Optimise Ops Centre Storage Support Consultant Veritas Netbackup & Hitachi VSP5500 - Provide day-to-day support for the Hitachi VSP 5500 storage environment. - Monitor storage performance and ensure optimal operation. - Troubleshoot and resolve storage-related issues. - Perform regular maintenance and updates to the storage system. - Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration and operation. - Document processes and procedures related to storage management.
