Support Consultant (Veritas)

Are you an experienced Storage Support Engineer with hands-on expertise inVeritas NetBackup and Hitachi VSP 5500 Join a dynamic IT team where youll play a key role in supporting maintaining and optimising critical storage environments. Requirements:
Qualifications and Experience:

• Intermediate skills and experience in managing and supporting Veritas NetBackup and Hitachi VSP 5500 storage systems.
• Strong experience in troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with storage performance monitoring and optimization.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Relevant certifications in storage management or related fields.
• Experience with other storage systems and technologies.
• Experience with Veritas NetBackup.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for upgrading Veritas NetBackup from version 10 to version 11.
• Supporting and maintaining our Hitachi VSP 5500 storage environment.
• Storage Performance Monitoring and Optimization
• Use your strong understanding of storage systems to troubleshoot resolve issues and maintain storage environment efficiently.
• Optimise Ops Centre Storage Support Consultant Veritas Netbackup & Hitachi VSP5500
• Provide day-to-day support for the Hitachi VSP 5500 storage environment.
• Monitor storage performance and ensure optimal operation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve storage-related issues.
• Perform regular maintenance and updates to the storage system.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration and operation.
• Document processes and procedures related to storage management.
