General Manager - Operations
Duties:
Execute effective planning, delegating, coordinating, staffing, organizing & decision-making to attain profit targets while ensuring compliance to SLAs
Develop & implement strategic plans by studying technological & financial opportunities, presenting assumptions & recommending objectives
Ensure realization of objectives through establishing plans, budgets, results measurements, resource allocation & progress review
Coordinate efforts across procurement, production, field, and technical services, aligning actions with corporate policies
Assign accountabilities, plan, monitor, and foster a culture of information sharing & development opportunities
Build & uphold the company image through collaboration with customers, community organizations, employees, and enforcing ethical business practices
Maintain quality service by establishing & enforcing organization standards
Stay current with industry trends by attending seminars, reviewing publications, and benchmarking global best practices
Enhance staff effectiveness through coaching, counseling, and communication of strategies & business objectives
Monitor performance regularly, providing coaching, support, and feedback to facilitate continuous improvement
Manage employee relations, workplace conflicts, and implement corrective actions in line with company policies
Oversee capacity building initiatives for subordinate managers
Requirements:
3 years+ management experience in a in the outsourced property services environment or client services
NQF Level 6 to 7: Degree or Advanced Diploma
SAFMA Certified Facilities Supervisor qualification
Matric (Senior Certificate) is mandatory
Valid South African Driver’s License
Proven leadership and coaching capabilities
Strong teamwork and negotiation skills
Analytical mindset with strategic thinking ability
