Automotive Vehicle Dealership Warranty Clerk - Gauteng, Kempton Park

Remuneration: R19 000 + Medical aid + Pension/Provident fund

Purpose Of The Job:

Our client, a well-established and high-performing automotive dealership representing a popular vehicle brand, is seeking an experienced Warranty Clerk to join their team. If you are an energetic, dynamic, and efficient administrator with proven automotive warranty claims and job card costing knowledge and experience, this could be the ideal opportunity for you.
The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately processing warranty claims, ensuring compliance with manufacturer requirements, managing warranty recoveries, and supporting the Service Department through effective administration and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and submit warranty claims to manufacturers accurately and within required timeframes
• Verify warranty eligibility and ensure all supporting documentation is complete
• Cost and audit job cards in accordance with manufacturer and dealership requirements
• Follow up on outstanding and rejected warranty claims
• Reconcile warranty receivables and maintain accurate records
• Liaise with Service Advisors, Technicians, and Manufacturer Representatives regarding warranty matters
• Ensure compliance with manufacturer warranty policies and procedures
• Produce warranty-related reports as required by management

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12 / Matric
• Previous experience as a Warranty Clerk within a franchised motor dealership
• Solid knowledge of automotive warranty claims processes and job card costing
• Experience working on dealership management systems
• Strong administrative and organizational skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Motor Industry experience Essential!
