About the Role

Our client is seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Manager & Community Engagement specialist to lead their online presence. This fully remote role requires a proactive individual to develop and execute social media strategies, foster community interaction, and enhance brand visibility across various platforms. You will be instrumental in crafting engaging content, managing online conversations, and analyzing performance metrics to drive engagement and achieve communication objectives. Although conceptually linked to Mahikeng , this is a remote position, allowing for global talent acquisition.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage the company's social media strategy to align with business goals.
• Create engaging and relevant content, including text, image, and video, for social media platforms.
• Monitor social media channels for customer inquiries, comments, and feedback, responding promptly and professionally.
• Build and nurture an active and engaged online community around the brand.
• Analyze social media metrics and prepare reports on key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Stay abreast of emerging social media trends, tools, and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
• Proven experience (3+ years) as a Social Media Manager or in a similar role, with a portfolio of successful campaigns.
• Excellent copywriting, editing, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated experience in community management and online engagement.
• Proficiency with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) and analytics platforms.
• Strong ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and thrive in a 100% remote work environment, irrespective of location like Mahikeng .
