FORKLIFT OPERATOR

Location: Endecot,
Employment Type: Contract
We are looking for an experienced and reliable Forklift Operator to join our team in Endecot. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating a forklift, loading and offloading goods, moving stock and ensuring that warehouse operations are carried out efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a forklift to load, unload, move and stack materials and stock.
• Receive and dispatch goods accurately.
• Assist with loading and offloading trucks and containers.
• Move stock to designated storage areas.
• Ensure goods are handled carefully to prevent damage.
• Conduct daily pre-use inspections of the forklift and report any faults or defects.
• Maintain accurate stock movement records where required.
• Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies.
• Maintain good housekeeping within the warehouse and work area.
• Assist with general warehouse duties when required.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 10/12 or equivalent.
• Valid Forklift Operator Licence/Certificate.
• Minimum 2–3 years' forklift operating experience.
• Previous warehouse, logistics or manufacturing experience will be advantageous.
• Experience loading and offloading trucks and containers.
• Good understanding of workplace health and safety.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable, punctual and physically fit.
• Willingness to work shifts and overtime when required.
