Senior Electrical Engineer

Key Responsibilities - Lead and manage electrical engineering and design teams, providing technical direction and mentorship. - Take hands-on responsibility for electrical engineering and design across the full project lifecycle. - Develop and review electrical designs, control systems and instrumentation solutions. - Work with PLC and SCADA systems, including the design and integration of automation and control solutions. - Provide technical leadership on Electrical, Control & Instrumentation (EC&I) projects. - Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, clients and other stakeholders. - Resolve technical and design challenges throughout project execution. - Lead commissioning activities and ensure successful project completion and handover. - Ensure engineering deliverables meet required technical, quality and compliance standards. Minimum Requirements - B.Eng. / BSc in Electrical Engineering. - ECSA Registered Professional Engineer (Pr.Eng.). - Strong hands-on experience in Electrical Engineering and Design. - Experience with PLC, SCADA, Electrical and Control & Instrumentation (EC&I) systems. - Proven experience leading electrical engineering/design teams. - Strong leadership, communication and people-management skills. - Experience taking ownership of projects from design through to commissioning and final handover. - Based in Pretoria and willing to travel as required. Key Requirements Hands-on design experience and proven expertise in leading electrical design from project inception and concept development, through detailed design, PLC/SCADA and control & instrumentation integration, commissioning and complete project handover. We are looking for an engineer who remains technically hands-on, while having the leadership ability to guide a team, engage with clients and drive projects through to successful completion.
