About the Role

Our client is looking for a proficient Professional Driver with a Code 10 license to join their team in Mahikeng, North West . This role is integral to their supply chain, involving the delivery and collection of goods within the region. You will be responsible for operating light to medium commercial vehicles, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining excellent customer relations. The role requires a driver who is adaptable, familiar with local routes, and committed to maintaining the company's high standards of service and safety. This position offers a mix of on-road driving and occasional depot-based coordination, making it a dynamic hybrid opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a Code 10 vehicle for local deliveries and collections in and around Mahikeng . Conduct daily inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe and operational condition.
• Load and unload goods carefully, ensuring proper packaging and securement.
• Verify order details and obtain customer signatures for all completed deliveries.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, reporting any maintenance needs promptly.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding delivery status and any required support.

Requirements

• Valid South African Code 10 driver's license and a valid PrDP.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a professional driving or delivery role.
• Good knowledge of the road network in Mahikeng and the North West province.
• Strong customer service skills and a polite, professional demeanor.
• Ability to perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading.
• Flexibility to work within a hybrid model, including some depot-based duties.
